Dave co-formed UnionJack with Gary in 1979. He is the band's point man - booking gigs, building set lists, bringing beverages to practice, and guiding the audience and band through the shows.
Guitar, Vocals & Bass
Gary co-formed UnionJack with Dave in 1979. He is the band's main lead singer (its best and most durable voice) and rhythm guitarist, though he occasionally plays lead guitar and bass.
Bass, Vocals & Guitar
Peter joined UnionJack in 2016. He had previously played keys and guitar and sung in One-Eyed Jacks and The Valley Brothers, and played bass and sung in Merrick Section and Diversion. Peter has written over 220 original songs, and has recorded those and cover songs in his basement "studio."
Keyboards, Percussion & Vocals
A.k.a. "The Professor," especially when playing his mini-Moog keyboard, Greg joined UnionJack in 2016. Though living in an often snowier area over an hour away from the others, Greg has faithfully made rehearsals and shows.
Guitar, Vocals & Harmonica
Jim joined UnionJack in 2021. He previously sang and played guitar and keyboards in The Lost 45s. The band has taken to rehearsing at his home in a room with fab instrumental gear.
Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica & Maracas
Jim played in UJ for 20 years before retiring from full-time status. He'll occasionally sub with the band, including at 2022's Abbey Road On The River (AROTR) festival in Jeffersonville, IN, and the International Beatleweek festival in Liverpool, England.
Vocals & Percussion
Michael brings a big voice, big energy, and a big hat. A UJ friend for years, he subbed at 2021's AROTR, and will again at 2022's AROTR and International Beatleweek. Michael sings and plays percussion with Schenectady, NY acoustic trio The Earlybirds.
Drums & Percussion
Brian has played in various bands, taught drumming, and recorded albums of his songs. He and Peter met at a house jam, going on to play guitars and sing as The Valley Brothers acoustic duo. Brian has drummed for UJ several times over the last few years, particularly on New Year's Eves.
