Dave Lempke

Drums, Vocals, Percussion & Compere

Dave co-formed UnionJack with Gary Wilkinson in 1979. He's the band's point man - booking gigs, promoting the band, building set lists, bringing beverages to practice, and guiding the audience and band through the shows. Dave's "way beyond compere."

Peter Schindelman

Bass, Vocals, Guitar & Keyboards

Peter joined UnionJack in 2016. He previously played keys and guitar and sang in One-Eyed Jacks and The Valley Brothers, and played bass and sang in Merrick Section and Diversion. Peter has written over 200 original songs, recording them and covers in his basement.

Jim joined UnionJack in 2021. He previously sang and played guitar and keys in The Lost 45's with Garry Santaniello. The band has taken to rehearsing at his home in a room with fab instrumental gear.

Garry started subbing with UJ in 2022, joining in Feb. 2024. He had played bass and sung with The Lost A-Sides and The Time Trippers. It took Garry playing with UJ before the group played a song mentioning "Union Jack."

Jim performed with UnionJack from its 2002 rebirth through 2024 (pausing in 2022-2023). While on hiatus he subbed at 2022's Abbey Road On The River (AROTR) festival in Jeffersonville, IN, plus Liverpool, UK's International Beatleweek festival - and various local gigs - in 2022 and 2023.

A.k.a. "The Professor," especially when playing his mini-Moog keyboard, Greg played in UnionJack from 2016 through 2023. He subbed on short notice at AROTR 2024 and again in 2025, and may appear occasionally with the band at other, more local, shows.

Michael brings big voice, energy, and black hat. He has performed with UJ at AROTRs 2021-2025, International Beatleweeks 2022 & 2023, and various New England gigs. Michael sings and percusses with Schenectady, NY acoustic trio The Earlybirds.

Gary co-formed UnionJack with Dave in 1979. He was the band's main lead singer and rhythm guitarist from its inception through most of 2022. Gary also occasionally played lead guitar and bass.

A longtime friend of the band, Ken has drummed with various western Mass. bands over the years - including Old School and Diversion (where he met Peter) - and in various theatrical productions. He currently drums with The 60's Experience and 91 South.

Brian has played in various bands, taught drumming, and recorded albums of his songs. He and Peter met at a house jam, and later performed as The Valley Brothers acoustic duo. Brian has drummed for UJ several times over the last few years, particularly on NYEs. He currently plays keys in Dayblazer.
